Things were
going fine for Karen until she was seduced by Nikki, her best friend and college
roommate. What disturbed Karen most about the lesbian experience was the
knowledge that she found pleasure in it. In a desperate move to re-define her
sexual orientation she dates an impatient campus stud, and finds herself the
victim of date rape. In confusion Karen retreats within herself, avoiding
relationships of any kind, until she encounters a two-hundred-year-old porcelain
nude figurine which has a dramatic effect on all who see it.

A Play in Two Acts
A young Korean
War veteran travels to a small Arkansas village to learn more about his deceased
father, and perhaps a little about his own 'hill-country' ancestors. What he
finds is a family of women with a dark and terrible secret, a town unwilling to
forgive, and a murdered man with no mourners.
